Parma expect Ghanaian Yussif Raman Chibsah to play a key role at the club this season after unveiling the midfielder as a ''new signing''.

The Gialloblu, who co-own the player with Juventus, loaned the 20-year-old to Sassuolo where he was vital in their promotion to the Serie A.

Chibsah featured 28 times in the Serie B and scored two goals.

The 20-year-old was presented at Parma's pre-season training camp in Collecchio by General Manager Pietro Leonardi.

"I had a fantastic season with Sassuolo but the Serie A with Parma is a dream for me and I will try to pay back the faith in me," Chibsah said.

"This team has great potential, great players and I will give my best. In the midifeld I can cover all positions and I am feeling strong in long launches."

Chibsah also made the training camp last year: "Yes, that's true but this year in Collecchio I notice more enthusiasm."

Parma coach Roberto Donadoni will make the defensive midfielder one of his key men for the upcoming season.
