Parma midfielder Yusif Rahman Chibsah marked his debut for the Black Stars as they came from behind to draw 2-2 against Turkey in an international friendly on Wednesday night.

Chibsah replaced Evian enforcer Rabiu Mohammed in the 60th minute and put up a solid display from the heart of the centre.

Burak Yilmaz opened the scoring for the home side at the Ataturk stadium in Istanbul as early as the 7th minute.

The Turks increased the tally with the second through Umut Bulut 21 minutes later to send the home fans agog.

Ghana trainer Kwesi Appiah made changes in the second and it paid off as striker Asamoah Gyan scored two world class goals to put the home side to sleep.

The Ain attacker reduced the deficit in the 62nd minute with a classic powerdriver that beat goalkeeper Volkan Demirel.

The former Sunderland hitman pulled the Ghanaians on level pegging with the equalizer and his second on the night to cement his goal scoring prowess at the international level.

The comeback display of the team will boost the morale of the team ahead of next month’s World Cup group decider against Zambia in Kumasi.
