John Pantsil is in top shape ahead of Academica's fixture

John Pantsil is in line to play for Hapoel Tel Aviv in their Uefa Europa  League second group B game against Academica on Thursday night.

The 30-year-old will be anxious to justify his recall into the Ghana national team with a solid performance against the Portuguese side at the Estadio Efapel.

The former Leicester City man has impressed heavily for Hapoel, and will be part of the team that will play their 100th Uefa competition.

Both teams will be hoping to pick themselves up after they lost their opening group games on September 20.

The Israeli giants were humbled 3-0 at home by champions Athletic Madrid while Academica suffered a 3-1 defeat at FC Viktoria Plze?.
