Owusu-Abeyie's Panathinaikos return delayed

Posted On Thursday, 13th December 2012

Quincy Owusu-Abeyie expected back after ten days

Ghana winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie is yet to return to full scale training for Panathinaikos despite projections for earlier return.

The 26-year-old suffered a knee injury while in action for the Greek giants in a Europa League tie against Maribor last month.

The former Arsenal starlet was expected to be back to full scale training last week but he has only began light training.

Panathinaikos boss Juan Ramón Rocha can only expect his wing-wizard to gain match fitness after ten days.
