Orlando Pirates coach Vladimir Vermezovic has decided to stick with first choice goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa at the expense of World Cup goalkeeper Fatau Dauda for this weekend’s Carling Black Label Cup at Soccer City.

The Bucs will take on their perennial rivals Kaizer Chiefs in this weekend’s curtain raiser ahead what promises to be a nail-biting season.

Dauda will not start despite having an impressive display at the tournament in Brazil.

The Ghana international played second fiddle to Meyiwa last season, playing only three games despite arriving with a huge reputation.

Dauda has stated he is willing to move on if he cannot be guaranteed playing time as his continual stay on the bench nearly cost his position at the national level.

The 28 year old will not be short of suitors if he indeed decides to walk.

But for this weekends Carling Black Label cup Vladamir Vermezovic has decided to stick rather than twist barring any last minutes challenges.

Pirates: Meyiwa – Jele, Sangweni, Mahamutsa, Matlaba – Segolela, Myeni, Manyisa, Klate – Majoro, Erasmus
