Samuel Opoku Nti says he is yet to be officially notified of his confirmed appointment as the General Manager of Asante Kotoko.
Reports are rife in the Ghanaian media that the club’s board have resolved to confirm the ex player’s appointment.
Nti has been working for Kotoko as the acting General Manager for over a year now.
His unconfirmed position comes with some constraints especially in the area of raising funds since he is considered a non-substantive appointee of the club.
His elevation as a substantive staff will thus help in clearing these limitations.
But the club legend says he is yet to be officially informed on his elevation which has been carried on various news platforms in the country.
“I have not received any correspondence from the board to the effect I have been confirmed as the General Manager,†he told Kessben FM.
“All along I have been acting so I don’t know about my confirmation.
“I am yet to get correspondence to that effect.
“That correspondence will come with my job description and everything and therefore I know I am acting and nothing more.â€
