Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Jonathan Opoku scored a goal to earn a point for struggling Veendam in a 1-1 with Cambuur in the Dutch second-tier league on Friday.
The 21-year-old Arnhem-born outpaced two Cambuur markers from the right flanks before slotting beyond Cambuur keeper Marco Bizot on the 15th minute mark.
Veendam were cruising to their first win in five games until Melvin de Leeuw scored on the 94th minute to deny them.
Opoku has netted seven times this season for Veendam who are two places above the relegation zone.
