Opare, four others dropped from Black Stars squad to play Liberia

Ghana will play Liberia on Tuesday in a friendly
Belgium-based Daniel Opare, Adam Kwarasey and Harrison Afful are among five players dropped for Ghana’s friendly against Liberia on Tuesday, MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal.
CAF Champions League leading scorer Emmanuel Clottey and centre-back Isaac Vorsah have also been excluded from the 18-man squad that will leave Accra on Monday.
Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has been left out due to a shoulder injury.
Left-back Abdul Razak Nuhu and strikers Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Abdul Majeed Waris-who failed to make the team that played Malawi in the Nations Cup qualifier-have been named in Kwesi Appiah’s squad.
Centre-backs Jerry Akaminko and Rashid Sumailahave been included.
Debutant Isaac Coffie is expected to make his Ghana debut against the Lone Stars in Monrovia.
The match is being played as part of Liberia’s Independence celebrations.
Ghana beat Malawi 2-0 last Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium in a final 2013 Africa Cup of Nations first leg qualifier.

why don’t we just send our local team
The whole squad should have played. Appiah could as well play this new squad at the second half. This is just friendly that also affects Fifa Rankings. Liberia played to a draw against Super Eagles yesterday. I hope AA knows what he is doing. No excuses.
If we are really that good, this team should be able to beat Liberia. This gives some of the players a chance to prove themselves. I am interested in seeing what Warris can do and Bokye-Yiadom. It should be interesting.

What do you mean by vice versa? Maybe you should try coaching. People who know nothing about coaching think they know more than AA. Funny!!! Ask coach Opeele Boateng the difference between talking and coaching.
why do you people always thing football is just about kicking the ball. the tactics of the coach on that faithful day did not help the players even Dede and kwadwo asamoah did not play well. no midfielders to hold on to the ball and everybody was upfront and no one passed the ball to him

I am sure some of the dropped players must have pressing Club conflicts. I am glad Coach Appiah is bringing Waris and Boakye Yiadom, I am however puzzled by his inclusion of Jordan Ayew.
i think people are being soo unfair to Jordan,this was a player who played so well when we played lesotho. the problem was with the tactics normally midfielders hold on to the balls and distribute it to the forwards but there was no midfield and no one used him, he was just there no passes so he tried to do something but things did not go well. even Dede and Kwadwo Asamoah were quite because of how the tactics of the coach were to be played. Ghana is used to passing and possessing much of the ball but that was lucking
