Okwahu United coach Abugri told to step aside

Okwahu United coach Stephen Abugri has been told to step aside ahead of their first division game against King Solomon.

The controversial trainer is believed to have had a brush-up with some supporters resulting in the decision to ask him to step aside.

“We have asked him to step aside for our game against King Solomon. There are a number of issues to be settled before we arrive at the final decision on his future,” United PRO Charles Boahene told Happy FM

“An investigation has started into the allegations against the coach and so when we conclude the investigation, we’ll make the findings public.

“We have not doubted the technical abilities of the coach but it’s also important we don’t put the allegations by the supporters into the dustbin.

“He has not been sacked. He has just been told to step aside for this game and then we decide what to do next.”

The soccer mountaineers have won two matches, drawn three and lost once in six matches.

The lie fourth in zone 3A.
