Accra Hearts of Oak winger Winful Cobbina has touched down in Riyadhà to complete his move to Saudi Arabian second-tier sideà Al-Riyadh SC, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively confirm.
The 19-year-old is expected to undergo medicals with the Division 1 side and complete a six-figure deal which is reported to be in the region of $300,000 to seal a move to the club.
GHANAsoccernet.com broke the news of Cobbinah's departure from Hearts but the former VfL Wolfsburg triallist claimed he had no knowledge of the deal.
However, the player has arrived in Saudi to seal the deal which is expected to be a three-year-contract.
Cobbinah has been playing for Hearts of Oak since the 2010/11 season and has distinguished himself in the clubââ¬â¢s colours.
Hearts of Oak head coach Herbert Addo must now come to the reality of molding a team without Cobbinah.
Al-Riyadh SC are hoping to seeking to return to the Saudi top-flight and are counting on the new Ghanaian playmaker to steer their promotion.
