Inter Allies Football Club have withdrawn from playing in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup, the club have confirmed.

The club wrote to the Ghana Football Association it was lacked the wherewithal to represent the country in the continent’s second-tier inter-clubs competition.

Eleven Is To One had the nod to play in the Confederation Cup qualifiers after losing the 2013/2014 MTN FA Cup finals to Asante Kotoko, who won the league and would play in the Champions League.

“We careful assessed our financial situation and thought it would be prudent to forfeit going to Africa. We have discussed with our stakeholders and this is the difficult decision,” CEO/Brands Manager Delali Senaye told www.interalliesfc.com

“We have asked the Ghana FA to look at the next club who merit the slot to be forwarded to CAF.

“We understand if our followers are disappointed but they shouldn’t be discouraged because better times are ahead of us."

Inter Allies made a successful debut in the Ghana top-flight by finishing sixth and missing out on the FA Cup trophy by a whisker.
