Ghanaian striker John Antwi has reached a deal with Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab to complete his move from Egyptian side Ismaily and penned a two-and-half year contract.
The 22-year-old threatened to pull out of the deal if his demand for US$ 200,000 signing on fee was not met.
Al-Shabab were willing to pay US$ 100,000 and that stalled negotiations over his transfer.
The Riyadh-based side are reported to have paid US$ 2.2 million to Ismaily for the leading Egyptian Premier League top scorer.
Antwi has been one of the Egyptian Premier Leagueââ¬â¢s most consistent performers since joining Ismaily in 2013.
He finished as the leagueââ¬â¢s top scorer last season with 11 goals in the zonal league.
