Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are struggling to hold onto mercurial midfielder Obed Ansah, GHANAsoccernet understands.

The player's contract expires at the end of next month and talks to extend his contract has hit the snag, leaving his options open.

The 24-year old who scored 12 goals for the club last term has been attracting interest somewhere with rivals Asante Kotoko.

Hearts are hopeful of tying him down to a new long term contract to prevent the situation that led to the departure of youngster Tawrick Djibril.
