By Patrick Akoto

Striker Kofi Nti Boakye says he is in the best condition ever ahead of the new season and ready to help Kotoko defend its Premier League title.

The 25-year-old has been in strutting goal scoring form in the pre-season for the Porcupine warriors where he has bagged brace in three successive matches.

The former Ghana Under-20 striker is in buoyant mood ahead of a busy season and insists he can spearhead the club’s title defense.

“I’m taken it match after match and I believe I’m ready for the season,” Boakye said

“The team is in high spirit. I know it’s going to be difficult because every team will come at us with a different mentality.

“But I am fully fit and raring to fire in the goals for Kotoko.

“I am just praying for an injury-free season and I believe by God’s grace, the sky cannot be the limit for me and the rest of my colleagues.”

The former Heart of Lions and Liberty Professionals man is eyeing the goal king award at the end of the campaign.
