No one can catch me - Ahmed Toure

Asante Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure

Striker Ahmed Toure insists he is a free man despite ‘illegally’ maneuvering his way out of Asante Kotoko.

The 25-year-old has not returned to Kotoko since leaving for holidays at the end of the last Premier League campaign.

The 2011 Premier League Most Valuable Player claims he has signed for an Ivorian first division club despite being under contract with the Ghanaian champions.

This situation has resulted in some section of the Kotoko fans to agitate for Toure’s immediate arrest and return to Kumasi.

But the Ivorian in responding to the fresh calls to have him arrested bullishly says no one can hold him in captivity.

“They (Kotoko) said December, right? December is just a month away,” he said.

“If they had wanted to come for me, they would have a long time ago. They can’t catch me.”
