No Manchester United deal for Asamoah despite Juventus deal delay

Kwadwo Asamoah

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah won’t be moving to Manchester United despite delays in him sealing a move to Juventus.

The Udinese player underwent medicals with the Italian giants two weeks ago and was expected to seal the deal few hours later.

But two weeks on the deal has not been finalised, prompted talks that he could still join Manchester United who were keen on signing him before his Juventus medicals.

The agent of Udinese star says the deal with Juventus will be sealed by Tuesday.

But agent Claudio Vagheggi says: “The agreement has been finalised.

“We’re only missing the signatures on the contract that are due to be made by 3 July.”

Asamoah has returned to Ghana to continue with his summer holidays after completing the Juvnetus medical.

As far as i know until signatures are appended on contracts, there’s no deal in place. In any case whose signatures are they waiting for? Weren’t all parties present after the medical, so what stopped them from signing the deal? Claudio Vagheggi should come again.
