Nigeria-based playmaker Addo among Ghana's squad for African Women's Championship
Elizabeth Addo has been invited by Ghana

Nigeria-based playmaker of Rivers Angels Elizabeth Addo is among the twenty-five players invited by Ghana's senior women’s team coach Yusif Basigi to camp - in preparation for the 2014 African Women’s Championship in Namibia.

Addo, 20, was a second half substitute in Rivers Angels' Federation Cup 2-1 win over Bayelsa Queens at the Akure Township Stadium on Thursday.

In the final of the 2013 Federation Cup, the skilful lady was on song in the club's three-nil victory over Nasarawa Amazons.

Ghana, have been paired with South Africa, Cameroon and Algeria in Group B of the 9th AWC tournament.

The Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence camp of the team will start bubbling from Tuesday, 29th July 2014. The invited players are to report at the Centre by 16:00h.
