New Medeama coach Prince Owusu will bring with him his own backroom staff.

The former Tema Youth coach signed a two-year deal with the club on Monday and will begin work on Friday.

It has been widely rumoured that he will not work with goalkeepers’ trainer Nassam Yakubu as he looks to bring in new faces.

The youth development coach has confirmed he will bring with his own personnel.

“Every coach must be comfortable with whom he works with,” he said

“Surely I will bring in the people I believe can help me deliver the ultimate.

“Medeama is a big project and need experienced, loyal and committed people to execute.”

Owusu will travel to Tarkwa on Friday to begin pre-season with his new side.
