Newly-appointed Hearts of Oak managing director Neil Amstrong-Mortagbe plans to revive the club's youth side.
The 2010 African champions had a lot of promising players coming through its junior ranks in the past.
In recent past, striker Ishmael Addo was promoted from Auroras and won the Ghana Premier League top scorer award on three consecutive occasions.
Ghana legend Mohammed Polo, the late Shamo Quaye and Ablade Kumey came through its stables.
"I am doing a situational review but if I look at the bottom-placed finish of Auroras, there is a lot of work on the team. I am sure that the technical head also sees this of what must be done," Amstrong-Mortagbe said.
"I also understand that there is a policy in place on how the reserves are going to be set up for next season and so, it is something that is on the minds of the people of the Board.
"A lot of stars in our teams have come through Auroras. Mohammed Polo, Shamo Quaye, Ablardey Kumah and three-time goal king Ishmael Addo all came from that tradition and we must go back to that. We must catch these players young because a lot of our competitors are doing so now.
"They are selling players at prices of about GHS 40, 000 [$18,000] and I do not see why we cannot follow suit. A club like Hearts of Oak boasts of a huge following nationwide should be able to do the same thing."
