Hearts of Oak intend maintaining its current crop of players for a longer period of time in order to achieve sustained success.
The club is determined to regain its past glory under the new administration led by Neil Armstrong Mortagbe.
The club have presented a blueprint – Restoring Phonian Glory – to guide them towards regaining success both on and off the field of play.
The club recognizes they need to maintain their crop of players over a period of time in ensuring they build a sustained winsome side as they did in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
“I would agree that from 96, 97 to 2000 were kept together a crop of players over a period of time, hence the success thereof,” Hearts Managing Director Neil Armstrong Mortagbe said.
“We anticipate that with the things being put in place, it will make it very attractive for our players to stay with us over a longer period.”
