New Edubiase to meet suspended former Attobrah

Posted On Friday, 8th March 2013

New Edubiase United are expected to meet captain Asiedu Attobrah, first from right, and his mother next week

Ghana Premier League side New Edubiase United will meet with former captain Asiedu Attobrah in a bid to resolve their differences.

Edubiase have slapped the 21-year-old with an indefinite suspension and stripped him off his captaincy for going AWOL after their unimpressive 1-0 Confederations Cup win over Diables Noirs a fortnight ago.

The former Ghana U20 trialist’s mother travelled to Bekwai to meet Edubiase CEO William Asare last week over his suspension but was unable to get the decision reversed.

The two parties are expected to meet early next week over the issue.

“We will meet and try to see what comes out of it,” CEO William Asare told Accra-based Happy FM.
