New Edubiase will adopt the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi as their home venue this season after the Bekwai Park was passed unfit to host Premier League games.

The Premier League Board has declared the venue unfit which means the Ashanti regional-based side must find an alternative.

Club president Abdul Salam Mumuni has confirmed there are plans to return to Obuasi if the seal of approval is given.

“We don’t even know what is happening as far as the start of the league is concerned and we’re talking about our home venue,” he said

“If the PLB thinks the venue does not meet standards, we’ll move to Obuasi in the interim as we find a final solution.

“We have played in Len Cla before and so I’m not too sure it will be a problem. At the moment, it might be premature but we’ll  move to Obuasi.”

Edubiase prior to moving their home venue to Bekwai were using the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
