New Edubiase chief Abdul Salam Yakubu insists he will not sell his players for ‘peanuts’ to Asante Kotoko.
The Premier League champions have reportedly made official bids for Asiedu Attobrah and Abeiku Ainooson according.
The former FA Cup champions are however set to reject the paltry offer made by Kotoko for the players they claim have offers abroad.
“No one sells his quality players for peanuts,” New Edubiase President Yakubu told Accra-based Happy FM.
“Kotoko wrote to us through their former Executive Chairman that they wanted some of our players.
“And the players have also expressed interest of joining Kotoko but New Edubiase ought to be given its due.
“There are foreign offers for these players and therefore they are in high demand and cannot be sold for cheap.”
Kotoko are looking to strengthen before the start of the new league season.
