Edubiase United smoothly edged struggling Real Tamale United 2-0 in the Ghana Premier League at the Gyamfi's Park in Bekwai on Sunday.

Adam Basit and Ibrahim Samed scored in either halves to record only their third win of the season.

RTU were rough and tough; battling it out with their host for every single space in the middle.

But for Anthony Commey's Edubiase was it a more patient build-up and systematically breaking down a resolute RTU side who were without coach Gargo Mohammed.

Adam Basit tapped home an Alhassan Nuhu low cross to put Edubiase into the lead from minutes before the recess.

Samed sealed the points for Edubiase with a 72nd minute header.

Ebenezer Ofori hit the by-line and sent in a weighted cross for the young striker to head home his debut league goal in the Ghana top flight.
