Burkina Faso youngster Bertrand Traore wants to emulate the impressive achievements of African stars like Michael Essien after sealing his move to Chelsea.
The 18-year-old’s move to the English club was finally made official when the secondary transfer window opened on January 1.
The youngster now looks to trail the blaze of his preceding African legions at the club which includes Ghana midfielder Michael Essien.
“At Chelsea I look to follow the way of some African legends like Didier Drogba, Michael Essien and now Samuel Eto’o,” he said.
The Burkina Faso international has since been loaned out to Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem to join the other new Chelsea signings which include Ghana winger Christian Atsu.
