Leading Chief Executive candidate for Hearts, Frank Nelson

Frank Nelson says he has no problem becoming the next Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak.

The Board Member according to information, is the preferred choice of club chairman Torgbui Afede XIV.

Hearts are in the hunt for a new Chief Executive following the decision of Fred Crentsil not to renew his two-year contract with the club.

And though stating his preparedness to fill the vacuum, Nelson insists the decision is yet to be made.

“I always say that I am a board member of Hearts of Oak and I want to discuss issues in the boardroom,” he told Accra-based Radio Gold.

“Yes, there is a vacuum, the board is looking at it but a decision is yet to be made.

“There is no job I cannot do. It is not just about giving it to Frank Nelson or anything, only that the right person must be chosen.”

Hearts have started the new season on a relatively strong footing after fetching four points from two games – which includes a 5-2 thumping of FA Cup holders New Edubiase United.
