Ghanaian youth international midfielder Bismark Adjei-Boateng scored the second goal to propel Norwegian side Stromsgodset as they posted a 3-0 win over Hungarian side Debrecen VSC to progress to the third round qualifiers of the Europa League.

The Hungarians held their guest to a 2-2 draw at the Marienlyst Stadion in Drammen last week and were in pole position to claim the ticket for the next stage of the competition but the Norwegians had other ideas.

Nana, 19, and on loan from English giants Manchester City cushioned the lead for the Stroms six minutes after the break with a close range finish.

Øyvind Storflor was the architect with a tailored free-kick from the right. The 33-year-old delivered an incisive free-kick that found the head of Peter Kovács whose header was saved twice by Istvan Verpecz.

The third ball fell to the unmarked Boateng who forced a powerful half-volley which came off a defender before sailing to the far corner.

Øyvind Storflor added the third in the 58th minute to seal the victory and secure a 5-2 aggregate win for Stromsgodset.

Former Black Stars first choice goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey returned to man the post for Stroms while defender Razak Nuhu watched the bench action from the bench at the Városi stadion.
