Namibia women’s national team have pulled out of Tuesday’s friendly against Ghana.

The Brave-Gladiators were scheduled to play the Black Queens in the preparatory game but have decided to cancel the exercise.

The host wants to focus their attention on Saturday’s opener against Zambia.

Namibia managed a comprehensive 3-1 win over Ghana’s opponent Algeria in a friendly exercise at the Namibia Football Association's (NFA) technical centre in Windhoek last Saturday.

The Black Queens on the other hand recorded an impressive 3-1 win over Tura Magic U-15 boys in a similar exercise with midfield maestro Elizabeth Cudjoe scoring a hat-trick.

Ghana will open her group B campaign against Algeria on Sunday October 12.
