Namibia womenââ¬â¢s national team have pulled out of Tuesdayââ¬â¢s friendly against Ghana.
The Brave-Gladiators were scheduled to play the Black Queens in the preparatory game but have decided to cancel the exercise.
The host wants to focus their attention on Saturdayââ¬â¢s opener against Zambia.
Namibia managed a comprehensive 3-1 win over Ghanaââ¬â¢s opponent Algeria in a friendly exercise at the Namibia Football Association's (NFA) technical centre in Windhoek last Saturday.
The Black Queens on the other hand recorded an impressive 3-1 win over Tura Magic U-15 boys in a similar exercise with midfield maestro Elizabeth Cudjoe scoring a hat-trick.
Ghana will open her group B campaign against Algeria on Sunday October 12.
