NAC Breda snatch Jeffrey Sarpong on loan

NAC Breda have acquired the services Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Sarpong on a six-month loan deal from Real Sociedad.

Reports from Rat Verlegh Stadion claim the deal was secured on the final day of the January transfer window on Tuesday.

The move is to allow the 23-year-old gain first team experience.

Sarpong joined Sociedad at the start of the 2010/11 season for an undisclosed fee but he managed only two starts for La Liga outfit.

NAC’s technical director Jeffrey van As revealed Sarpong will perfectly fit into the club’s system.

“We wanted to recruit quality players without spending much. Jeffrey’s addition is certainly more than welcome in the squad, given our financial situation,” Van As was told Voetbal International.

“With the arrival of Jeffrey, we have made out selection wider, which will certainly improve our game quality.”
