Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong says his loan spell at Fulham will only be successful with regular games.

The 21-year-old arrived at Craven Cottagers in January on-loan from Arsenal for the remainder of the season.

The move was to give Frimpong regular first team action following his return from a lengthy injury layoff.

The central midfielder admits failure to realize the ambition of the loan spell will render the move useless.

“I hope to play in most of the games. I know it will be hard to play in every game when you have got great players here, I understand that,” he said.

“I’d consider it an achievement if I played a good amount of matches, made a good name for myself with the Fulham fans and showed my team-mates that I can help them.

“If I can achieve all these things come the end of the season, then I’ll be happy with my work.”

Frimpong has only made one appearance for the Cottagers since arriving in the winter transfer period.
