Ghana cash King Sulley Muntari
By Ameenu Shardow
Sulley Muntari has emerged the 7th highest earner at AC Milan according Italian newspaper Corriere Dello Sport.
The Ghana midfielder who signed a two-year deal with the Rossoneri after impressing on a 6-month loan from Inter will now fetch a mouthwatering €45,ooo in weekly wages – meaning he will make €2.2m annually.
The huge payoff takes the 27-year-old above Ghanaian Kevin-Prince Boateng and other great players at the San Siro in Milan’s pay hierarchy but is level with new signing Ricardo Montolivo.
Muntari’s stunning pay rise certainly makes him one of the richest people in Ghana and is believed to earn far more than Ghana’s President John Atta-Mills and any Government employee.
He is however behind Robinho, Phillippe Mexes, Thiago Silva, Alexandre Pato, Antonio Cassano and Zlatan Ibrahimovic who tops all with a staggering €9m annual pay.
lucky guy,,,,hope he will continue to be discipline
do u have to make reference to the salary of the President of Ghana??? of course everybody knows that footballers in general earn more than Presidents.
Totally useless comparison with Presidents and Government employees. Absolutely unneccessary!!!
why re u refering to €45000 lyk its da highest eva earned by an African. Its actually quite small in da football world ryt now. Even Kalou earns £70000 but isn’t recognised
tank GOD. go high muntari.
Well deserved!
Mcheeeeeeeeeeew! Mikel n essien earn £130,000 pounds a week bt dey ar quiet. Suley was taking 70,000 @ inter so der is a pay cut
