Sulley Muntari was once more again very influential for AC Milan in their impressive 4-0 win away to Palermo on Saturday.
The Ghana international has started enjoying his football again since arriving on loan from Inter Milan in January.
He was at his effective best in the Milan midfield allowing forwards Robinho and in particular Zlatan Ibrahimovic the freedom to be at their shooting best against the Serie-A’s second best defence.
Ibrahimovic completed a hat-trick by 35 minutes before defender Thiago Silva wrapped up the win in the 58th minute.
The midfielder played the entire duration of the game – underscoring his significance to the Rosseneri especially since he will be unavailable in their mid-week Champions League return encounter with Arsenal.
THAT WAS A GOOD PERFORMANCE
I’ve always said Muntari is a special player. I think the coach Max Allegri must do everything necessary to register him for the UEFA Champions League so that he will help them win it. This can be done by taking off players of Milan who are injured and registered for the UEFA Champions League such as the inexperienced and injured Merkel and Aquilani or one goalkeeper off the list. Alternatively, they can put him on list list B so that he will be eligible to play in the Champions League.
YES, The true son of Ghana. See how Muntari relied on the Black Stars to keep himself afloat when the going got real tough at Inter-Milan? Concentrating on the Ghana duty steered him into prominence for AC Milan to seek his service. Prince Boateng used same strategy to jump-start his ailing career. As good as Michael Essien is, he’ll never be remembered in Ghana’s Soccer History if he doesn’t win anything with the Black Stars and leaves a legacy. So far, he’s been like a flash in the pan.
Oh Muntari, well done!
muntari should keep on doing the gud work.
i read headline and i thought he scored jux to read abt him giving passes. GSN pls stop the over exageration.
One does not necessarily have to scored a goal to be seen to have contributed to a team’s success. A team is made up of eleven players, but only a few score. And they score only because the rest of he team gave passes to them. Muntari was deployed in the middle of the field, his job is to distribute the ball, and he did just that.
I watched the game, and I know he had a good game.
I wonder why we are over-hyping his performance. The guy is slowly getting back to form and is not up there yet.He needs a bit more games so why are we already putting unnecessary pressure on him.I watched the match too and I think he needs some fine tuning.more especially in how quickly his moves the ball and ability to retain the ball without breaking the pace and pattern of play.Lets hope he gets more games under his belt and stop this hyping. The guy looked even very worn out in the last 10 minutes so cut this British media kind of attitude
Agree with u
It was a brilliant performance from the entire team as a whole. Sulley seems to have his confidence back, I hope Allegri makes his deal permanent. I’d give him 7.5/10 for today’s performance. I am glad he is making use of the opportunity. Good luck Sulley!
Sulley,no size!!!
Thumps up Sulley, keep it up.
That is my Man!
THE STONE THAT THE BUILDR REJECTED ………………
Sulley Muntari is a God fearing man he did everything right during the AFCON fiasco he remained humble during the tough times and now Allah is raising him up again. What a beautiful assist he got against Chile.
FIFA has approved goal line technology for the World Cup in Brazil. Now all they have to do is to name it the MUNTARI. This all started with Muntari’s disallowed goal against Juventus, which rocked the soccer world. If you are humble and give God/Allah the glory, He will raise you up.
Wow Muntari is now a regular starter at Milan, the lead leaders and defending champions! So what made Inter bench him for so long, just wondering?
Sulley should keep the pace so that he will never be flop again. Well done Sulley for your impressive perf
Sulley should keep the pace so that he will never be flop again. Well done Sulley for your impressive perfomance lately !!!!!
one man’s thrash is another man’s treasure,,this is how life goes n it should be an example to all mankind,am sure inter now admits that, their plans have fail, cus the muntari i see now is goin to prove them wrong 4 beein not surplus that they claim he is,,,,keep the fire burnin man, we luv ya till death.
Inter were just discriminating Muntari for reasons we don’t know. But all we know is that it worked at Inter but not at AC Milan. No wonder Inter are falling because they are not honest when it comes to player selection. I can’t believe they are playing a player who is 39 years of age – Javier Zanetti – in the starting lineup and bench the likes of Muntari and other younger players all the time and they expect to win games. They should get real. They must be joking. In fact they make him play the whole 90 minutes in every single game which is nonsense.
If Muntari continues like this, his place in the midfield of the BS is cemented. Together with Essien & Ayew this will be a killer midfield!
Muntari is best in ghana will done.keep on wine amen
JOSEPH DONT FORGET DERRICK BOATENG AND ASAMOA.THEIR PERFOMANCE AT THE CHILE GAME WAS OVERWELMING
