Sulley Muntari supports Max Allegri to revive AC Milan
AC Milan ace Sulley Muntari believes coach Massimilliano Allegri can reverse their dwindling fortunes this season.
Milan have had a patchy run of the form in the domestic league and in the UEFA Champions League.
The Rossoneri have suffered five defeats, three wins and two draws in the Italian Serie A.
Muntari had to endure his side’s downward spiral while in the treatment room to cure a serious knee injury.
He believes under-fire coach Allegri can turn around their fortunes and breathe life back into their campaign.
“Coach Allegri has clear ideas about what it to be done, we just have to follow him,” the midfielder said.
The Ghana international has made a return to full fitness but he is yet to play his first match of the season.
Muntari was on the bench when the Rossoneri rallied from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Palermo last Tuesday.
“I’m happy to be back for the team. I’m looking forward and I think I can give a hand,” he added.
“My body reacted well to the 910 minutes with the youth team and I have to thank Dolcetti and the players.”
