Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari will start from the bench for AC Milan in their crucial UEFA Champions League last 16 return leg against Barcelona at the Nou Camp.

But his compatriot Kevin-Prince Boateng has been handed a starting role.

Muntari has lost his place to Antonio Nocerino as Milan coach Maxi Allegri plans to eliminate the Spanish giants.

He played full throttle in the Milan 2-0 away win at Genoa in Serie A last Friday.

The 28-year-old scored in the 2-0 first leg win at the San Siro.

AC Milan XI: Abbiati, Abate, Mexes Zapata, Constant, Montolivo, Ambrosini Flamini, Boateng, Niang, El Shaarawy
