AC Milan have lined-up in a flexible 4-3-3 formation with Ghanaians; Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng starting from the onset against Barcelona.

Boateng is being used as a right-sided attacker, against the fluid Spanish side in the Champions League clash this evening at the San Siro.

The ex Ghana international, who can also play as a trequartista in a 4-3-1-2, will form a trident attack alongside Giampaolo Pazzini and Stephan El Shaarawy.

Cristian Zapata and Philippe Mexes start in the middle of the defence, while the midfield consist of Massimo Ambrosini, Riccardo Montolivo and Sulley Muntari.

Mario Balotelli, signed from Manchester City in January, is Cup-tied.

Milan (4-3-3): Abbiati; Abate, Mexes, Zapata, Constant; Montolivo, Ambrosini, Muntari; Boateng, Pazzini, El Shaarawy.

Viper, good for them ‘dea’ good for them. we have all these talents but we cant beat an ordinary team like b’fasso in a major tournament.

    • mojahadine says:

The reason is due to our not so smart GFA and coaches who do not take the time to learn how to be managers and coaches but rather want to get these jobs to make money.

Akwesi Appiah should be a scout not a coach.
