Mubarak Wakaso

Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso will be available for Ghana in their next match against Cape Verde at the Africa Cup of Nations after serving a one-match suspension.

The Espanyol ace picked up two yellow cards in the matches against DR Congo and Mali and had to sit out the final Group match against Niger.

The 22-year-old picked up a knee injury in his last match but returned to training on Tuesday morning.

Wakaso scored on his international debut against the Blue Sharks in the 1-0 friendly win played in Portugal two months ago.

The Espanyol has been one of Ghana’s best performers at the tournament and has one goal to his credit.
