Espanyol new recruit Mubarak Wakaso is yearning for Ghana call-up

Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is determined to impress at Espanyol to make a case for his inclusion into the Black Stars.

The 21-year-old former AshantiGold winger signed a four-year-contract with the La Liga side on Wednesday after leaving relegated Villarreal.

The former Ghana Under-20 star has struggled to break into the Black Stars but is bidding for his time for a breakthrough

“It has been my dream to play for the Black Stars and I’m always ready,” Wakaso said

“I hope to have a good season with Espanyol and see if I can make the grade for the national team.”

    IF lee addy, samuel inkoom and vorsah are called, why not this dude? this guy is 10 tyms better than inkoom,. this inkoom guy wont play for any serious-minded national team. we need wakasu, akaminko, opare, boye, clottey etc
