MTN Ghana FA Cup set for November 18 start

The 2012/2013 MTN Ghana FA Cup is set to begin on November 18

This season’s MTN Ghana FA Cup will begin on Sunday 18 November, MTNFootball understands.

The FA Cup Committee will begin with the preliminary round which pitches second and third-tier sides.

The Regional Football Associations are yet to settle on third division clubs who will compete in the first stage of the competition.

The Ghana Football Association re-introduced the competition in 2010 after a ten-year absence.

New Edubiase are the defending champions after beating AshantiGold 1-0 in Accra in July.
