Mrs Rawlings wrenches NDC logo from party

General News of Thursday, 10 May 2012Source: Joy Online The ruling National Democratic Congress executives face a impending legal battle to keep the party’s logo as lawyers for Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings lay ownership of the logo.

Nana Konadu has through her lawyers written to the national executives of the party criticizing them over what they describe as infringement of the party logo which is their client’s intellectual property.

According to Nana Konadu’s lawyer, Stanley Ahorlu the logo is the intellectual property of Nana Konadu because she created it. He added that the right steps will be taken to ensure that the logo is not misused by individuals or group of persons.

The General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah confirmed to Joy FM that the party has received a letter from Nana Konadu on the issue. He added that the letter has been forwarded to the appropriate quarters of the party for an appropriate response.
