Middlesbrough striker Albert Adomah doubled his goal tally for the season to four after half-time demands from manager Tony Mowbray.
”I had a few words with him because I felt he needed to up his game,” revealed Mowbray. “And to be fair to him he did.
”Albert came back from international duty on Thursday, and I decided to start with him at Barnsley.
“And we created enough chances to have scored more goals than we did.”
Adomah was named in Ghana’s squad which thumped Egypt 6-1 in the 2014 Brazil World Cup playoff first leg.
