Kotoko midfielder Prince Baffoe has described Sunday’s 3-1 win over Bechem United as ‘unforgettable’, but admits there is still a long way to go in their bid to retain their Premier League crown.

The Porcupine Warriors produced a masterful performance to beat their opponent with a brace from Michael Akuffo and striker Ahmed Toure.

Newly-installed coach David Duncan restored confidence in the team after taking full charge of the team as they picked the priceless points away from home.

And Baffoe, who joined the Ghanaian champions from second-tier side Nania FC, is delighted with the side’s renewed confidence.

“It was unforgettable experience at Bechem and we hope to carry it on from there,” he said

“We had to win that game and I’m glad we managed to do just that. This should spur us on to do more for this great club.

“Coach Duncan has brought something new to this club. But of course we must admit that the road to retain our title is far away.

“We have to keep our eyes on the ball and keep working hard.”

The record Ghanaian title-holders travel to Paga to play Paga Crocodile in an MTN FA Cup round of 64 clash on Wednesday before a Premier League meeting against Liberty Professionals on Sunday.
