Mohammed Rabiu scored the opener as Evian TG thrashed Nice.

Ghana midfielder Mohammed Rabiu scored for Evian TG in their 4-0 win over Nice to move from the relegation zone in the French Ligue 1.

Rabiu doubled Evian's lead three minutes after the break to put them 2-0 up after Bérigaud opened the scoring on 24 minutes.

Tunisian striker Saber Khelifa then raked in two goals in the 56th and 87th minutes respectively to bring home to Evian TG.

Rabiu was replaced in the 82nd minute by Guillaume Lacour as he marked his 26th appearance in the Ligue 1.

His first goal for the club in the top-flight was registered in November last year in the 2-2 home draw with Saint Etienne.
