Hearts of Oak coach Mohammed Polo says he cannot be solely blamed for the club’s slump in form in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The Phobians suffered a third straight loss after slipping to a sorry 1-0 defeat at Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.

Polo has been criticized for failing to inspire the club as they lie 13 points behind leaders Asante Kotoko in third place.

But the ex-international and club legend says his backroom staff and players must take collective responsibility for their below par performances.

“Three successive defeats is too huge a blow to take. It will be wrong to heap all the blame on me because we have failed to pick a single point in our last three games. The blame must be shared collectively because we are all involved,” Polo is quoted by Sports Crusader.

Hearts host Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in the week 26 fixture.
