Ex Ghana international Mohammed Polo is being urged to veer into politics to run as Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso Central Constituency.

Polo made his name for his sheer skill, balance and scintillating dribbling ability during his active playing days with Hearts of Oak and the Black Stars.

He has now taken to coaching but remains critical on issues bothering on the modern game and how he believes it ought to be administered.

Polo has however been offered an opportunity to run for a political office as MP on the ticket of the Yes People’s Party (YPP) for the December 7 general elections.

Though yet to take a firm decision on the offer, insiders tell GHANAsoccernet.com the ‘Dribbling Magician’ appears willing to step into politics.

The devout Muslim will be the first notable ex Ghana international to run for MP if he agrees to the offer.

Polo remains very popular in his constituency and is being tempted to test its viability in the forthcoming general elections on December 7.

      He is confused and does not know what to do with his life. A good player of his caliber should fall on GFA for sponsership for coaching course if he cannot do it himself. He will soon loose his gaind dignity through the path he is considering.He should think twice
