Ghana midfield starlet Mohammed Abu scored to help Stromsgodset to draw 1-1 with Sogndal in the Norwegian top flight league on Sunday.

The 19-year-old powered home a screamer from 40-yards to put Stromsgodset into the lead nine minutes after the interval.

But the Drammen-based side surrendered the lead in the 90th minute as Tonny Brochmann scored to grab a share of the spoils for the newcomers.

Stromsgodset will remain on 8th place on the table.

This was Abu's second goal for the club since joining them on loan from English side Manchester City.

City extended the contract of the former Right to Dream Academy graduate last week.
