Midfielders Ansah, Osei join Hearts training

Posted On Wednesday, 14th November 2012

Obed Ansah and Emmanuel Osei 'Obour' are training with Hearts

Free agents Obed Ansah and Emmanuel Osei are training with Hearts of Oak, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.

Ansah, 26, attended training sessions of rivals Asante Kotoko in Kumasi last month ahead of a proposed move to the Porcupine Warriors.

But has shockingly rejoined the Phobians and began training with the club on Monday.

Osei who spent the 2002/03 season with the former African champions before joining Italian side Livorno and MSL side New England Revolution, is also training with the club in a bid to regain his match fitness.

Hearts’ management have reportedly opened talks to re-sign Ansah while Osei is being watched by the technical team.

Stop the lies GSN… Obed Ansah never trained with Kotoko. We rejected the offer to have him after his manager Omar called to request we have a look at him. so there was nothing like a proposed move. We told them blatantly that there was no space for Obed in our midfield. Thanks.

You guys were wiser this time. He knows in your desperation, you are easily dribbled ALA DONG BORTEY and so nearly tried one on you before coming home. Welcome Prodigal son.

  3. Nii says:

Management must hasten the process of his re-registration. Though diminutive, he is one of the nicest midfielders to have played for Hearts, strong in spirit and a fighter of the ball. Remember, he scored some crucial goals for Hearts and even came close to winning the goal king race. Indeed, quiet young and Hearts nedds him dearly.
