Midfielder Yahaya Mohammed promises to explode for Kotoko
Yahaya Mohammed has reverting to Kotoko after spending loan at Amidaus.

Midfielder Yahaya Mohammed says he will punch above his weight on his return to champions Asante Kotoko.

The versatile player put up starring performances on a season-long loan at debutants Amidaus Professionals where he was handed the captain armband.

Mohammed left his parent club under controversial circumstances after falling out with management.

He scored ten goals last term in an offensive role and says he wants to replicate that at Kotoko next season.

"I left Kotoko last season with pains because I felt I still had enough to offer the club,'' Mohammed told the club's website.

"Thankfully the opportunity has come again and I am going to utilize it judiciously and do more than what I did with Amidaus Professionals this season."

Mohammed was instrumental in Kotoko winning the league two seasons ago under head coach Maxwell Konadu.
