Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed wants to make the best out of his return to the national team.

The 22-year-old has been rewarded for his impressive performances for French Lique 1 outfit Evian Gaillard Thollon after been named in a 30-man squad to prepare for the 2014 World cup double header against Lesotho and Zambia next month.

The ex-Ghana youth international who is regarded as a carbon copy of Chelsea ace Michael Essien returns to the team since he was included in the provisional  squad that played at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil.

The 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup winner is delighted with his re-call and wants to cease the opportunity.

“I am very happy to be invited into the national team and I thank the coach for identifying my performance in the French Lique this season,” Mohammed told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I played 24 matches and believe he was impressed with the displays I churn out. It has not been easy but I put up my best show

“We have senior players ahead of us but I think I will be happy to make my case for myself,”

The squad will be prunned down before the games.
