Midfielder Afriyie Acquah is confident his return to the Italian Serie A will resurrect his career.
The 21-year-old has been loaned out to Parma on a season-long deal from German side TSG Hoffenheim.
Acquah joined the German Bundesliga side in January this year but never debuted for the Villagers.
"I like to play in Italy and I have played there before so going back is something great for me," the combative midfielder told Joy sports
"In my mind I want to go back and do well because things were not easy at all for me here, I sat out over five months here in Germany.
"I know is not going to be easy as I'm going back but I believe I can make it because I have been there before."
Parma have the first option to tie down the player if he impresses this season.
