Ghana midfielder Enock Adu Kofi has revealed Chelsea captain John Terry walked up to him and congratulated him after their Uefa Champions League clash last week.

The former Ghana U17 midfielder played full throttle and gave a good account of himself as Chelsea shuttered his Nordsjælland side 4-0 at the Parken Stadium in a Group E tie.

Adu, 22, had his dreams of playing alongside his boyhood hero, Frank Lampard, come true when he faced him in midfield in their Uefa Champions League game last Wednesday.

The former OG Nice midfielder says he was surprised when the former England captain came to him after the game.

"I wasn't expecting at all. I was standing on our team bus when he came to me and talked to me," he told Ghanasoccernet.com

"We talked for about 45 minutes and he told me that I'm a great player and also said I have a bright future.

"After Terry had gone, I heard somebody calling my name. I turned and it was David Luiz and he came with a similar message.
